Banks is a very thoughtful student with lots of interesting life experience. He is very easy to work with, coachable, creative and dependable. I am confident that he will be an invaluable addition to any team he joins.

I had the opportunity to teach Banks Nicholson in two graduate level courses in the MSIS program at the Kelley School of Business: AI Driven Software Development and Enterprise Data Management, and I am glad to have the chance to recommend him as he enters recruiting season. One example of his impact to the AIDD course, was his introduction of Google’s Gemini API as a way for students to integrate large language model capabilities into full stack web projects at no cost (recent at the time). This followed a discussion of the ChatGPT API, which involves usage fees. Banks independently researched viable alternatives and proactively shared what he learned with his peers, reflecting both initiative and a collaborative mindset that is especially valuable in team based environments. In addition to his technical strengths, Banks is very personable and professional. Conversations with him, whether about coursework or external projects, were consistently thoughtful and engaging. As he enters recruiting season at Kelley, I am confident he will present himself as a strong candidate and make meaningful contributions in roles that value problem solving, curiosity, and continuous learning. I recommend him without hesitation.

Banks consistently demonstrated strong initiative, creativity, and adaptability. He played a key role in developing an internal sales-team web publication, wrote article copy, and designed a product sample brochure translating complex engineering drawings into useful diagrams. One of Banks's strengths is his versatility with different software platforms and his ability to approach problems with creativity and resourcefulness. He brought motivation, professionalism, and a positive collaborative spirit to his assignments. I am confident he will excel in any professional environment he chooses to pursue.

Banks is one of the most driven, ambitious, and ethical people I've worked with. He contributed largely to the smoothness of kitchen operations - oftentimes staying late or arriving early to help ensure quality service. He is a natural leader, and an asset to every project he collaborates on. Though we no longer work together professionally, Banks continues to grow as an innovator. His humility and empathy will take him far, and I am excited to see what he accomplishes in the future.

Banks was my roommate for all four years of college, and there's a reason for that. He's someone who walks into a room and somehow people always gravitate towards. He seriously chefs it up in the kitchen, and has some of the most reliable work ethic I have ever seen. He sees the logical, straightforward goal where others often don't, and is always outgoing and making new friendships and connections with absolute ease. He also acts like a sponge, always asking great questions to learn the inner workings of things most people would not even consider.
